There’s not too many things more nostalgic than an egg cream. Using just a few ingredients, this drink hits all the notes – it’s sweet and creamy, but goes down easy thanks to the effervescence from the addition of seltzer. 

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Egg Cream

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients
 

  • cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup, like Hershey's
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Seltzer, chilled

Instructions
 

  • In a 1-cup liquid measure or a cocktail mixing glass, stir the milk and strawberry syrup until well combined.
  • In a 12-ounce milkshake glass, drizzle the chocolate syrup in a spiral pattern along the interior of the glass.
  • Carefully pour the strawberry milk mixture into the prepared glass.
  • Top with seltzer and serve immediately.
