I’m one of those people who winds up with leftover wine, and this is one of my favorite things to do with it.  This super refreshing cocktail is perfect for the poolside or as an accompaniment for lunch or a light dinner.

Berry Sangria Spritzer

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 cocktail


  • 4 raspberries
  • 3 blackberries
  • 1 small mint plouche, plus more for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon agave
  • ½ cup red wine
  • ½ cup seltzer


  • Muddle the raspberries, blackberries, mint and agave in a highball or a rocks glass.
  • Add the wine and seltzer and stir to combine.
  • Add ice, garnish with mint and serve immediately.
